On Thursday January 8, 2026 at approximately 11:30 AM Thorndale Fire Company was dispatched along with Minquas EMS and Alert Fire Company to the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Thorndale/Marshallton Road for an automobile accident reported with entrapment. Working Fire Assist in West Brandywine

Thorndale Fire Company, December 27

On December 27th at 22:25 hours Engine 38 was dispatched as part of the first alarm assignment to N. Hawthorne Drive to assist the East Brandywine Hospital with a reported house fire. First arriving officers on scene found a two-story, single-family dwelling with heavy fire showing from both the first and second floors. A working fire dispatch was immediately requested.

Thorndale Fire Company, December 26

Station 38 along with mutual aid were dispatched to Hazelwood Avenue for a reported house fire. The reporting party indicated they had smoke in their attic after a Chimney Fire earlier in the day. Chief 38 arrived on the scene of a 2-story single family dwelling with nothing evident from the exterior sides Alpha and Bravo. Fire Station Visit

Thorndale Fire Company, December 22

The firehouse welcomed a visit from Girl Scout Troop 4195. During their time at the station, the scouts and their families had the opportunity to see the firehouse apparatus and equipment up close, with ATV 38 being a particular favorite among the group. Fire Marshal Yervelli shared important fire safety information with both the scouts and their parents.
