As dusk approached, Chief 38 received a notification from the Chester County Communications Center of dog stuck in a pipe in the Inglewood Development of Caln Township. Working Fire in the Fairways

Thorndale Fire Company, October 24

Station 38 and the first alarm assignment were dispatched to Bluff Road for a possible structure fire. Caln Police arrived on the scene and reported smoke coming from the building with the residence evacuated. Lieutenant 49 arrived and reported fire showing from sides Alpha and Charlie. It is with deep regret that Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company announces the passing of Past Chief David Aberts. Chief Aberts was a lifetime member of Thorndale Fire Company where he held many positions since his start in 1976, including one of the longest tenures as Fire Chief from 1995 through 2010.

At 09:31 this morning, Station 38 and Engine 76 were dispatched to an automatic fire alarm at 1834 Lincoln Highway, Rainbow Wash House. Ast. 38 arrived on location and reported a one-story commercial building with no evacuation in progress and no visible signs of fire or smoke from the exterior.

Thorndale Fire Company, September 27

On September 27th, 2025, Thorndale Fire Company was alerted with many neighboring mutual aid fire companies to the 3000 block of Doe Run Church Road in East Fallowfield Township for a barn fire. First-arriving crews found a 200x100 horse barn fully involved with reports of horses still inside. A working fire dispatch was immediately requested along with first alarm tanker task force.
