Thorndale Fire Company, May 27

Shortly after 2:00am on May 27th, Thorndale Fire Company was alerted on the first alarm assignment to assist Station 49 with a residential fire in the 100blk of Tradition Ln.

Smoke Detector Installations

Fire Fighter Kimberly Mattson, May 13

CFF Tom Yervelli and Fire/Life Safety Educator Kim Mattson, in partnership with the Red Cross, installed smoke detectors in 4 homes on Friday May 12, 2023.
CFF Yervelli installed the smoke detectors, while FF Mattson provided fire safety education.
The home owners were very happy that they were able to have this done for them.

Thorndale fire Company , May 07

Shortly after 6pm on Saturday May 6th, Station 38 was dispatched to assist Stations 41 & 43 with a dwelling fire. First arriving crews found smoke showing from the 3rd floor, after a 360 of the building the fire was determined to be on the 3rd floor delta side of the building.

Station 38 assists Downingtown with a House Fire

Thorndale Fire Company , March 22

On Wednesday March 22nd just after 3:00pm Station 38 was dispatched to assist stations 45 & 46 with a reported house fire in the 100 block of Brandywine Ave in Downingtown Borough.

Chief 45 arrived to find a 2- story twin with fire showing in Charlie/Delta corner.

March 16 and 17, 2023 The Thorndale Fire Company visited the Copeland Run Academy to catch up on visits we could not make in October due to weather issues.
