At 13:25 hours, the company was dispatched to the 800 block of Williamsburg Bvld, to assist the Lionville Fire company with a possible house fire. Brush Fire in Bailey Station

Thorndale Fire Company, October 18

Station 38 was alerted to the rear of a home in the 3200 block of Tyning Lane for a Brush fire. Chief 38 went enroute and was advised of a lawnmower on fire that sparked brush. With that report, Chief 38 asked for an additional Engine Company to assist. Chief 38 arrived on the scene confirming the report of a lawn mower engulfed with a brush fire extending down the hill. Thorndale Fire Company, October 17

At approximately 4:38 AM, Station 38 was dispatched assist Downingtown Fire Department in the 100 block of Saint Joseph Lane in Downingtown Borough for a House Fire. Downingtown Police and Assistant 45 were first to arrive on the scene, confirming visible fire coming from the front window of the second floor. Luckily all occupants had safely evacuated the home.

Vehicle Rescue Training with Station 76

Our vehicle rescue training series has continued into the night of Wednesday October 16th. This evening, Station 38 crews were joined by the on-duty staff at Engine 76 for a night of mutual aid training. The crews were given a scenario of a two-vehicle accident involving one vehicle into a ravine with a passenger trapped. Thorndale Fire Company, October 14

Station 38 was dispatched to the 600 block of West Bondsville Road for trees down on wires. Rescue 38 arrived on location confirming a tree down on wires with an active brush fire. PECO was requested to the scene to secure the power. Rescue 38's Officer requested Engine 76 to assist with suppression of the brush fire.
