Thorndale Fire Company, July 16

On Saturday July 16th at 13:30 hours, Station 38 was alerted as part of the first alarm assignment to the 1500 block of Winfield Dr in West Bradford for a house fire. Initial reports to the responding units were of a lawn tractor that had exploded in the garage, and it was now on fire. For many, the annual Strawberry Festival held at the Brandywine Hospital marks the unofficial start to summer in addition to Memorial Day. 2nd Alarm Building Fire Assist

Thorndale Fire Company, May 16

On Monday May 16th, Engine 38 was dispatched as part of the first alarm assignment to assist Downingtown Fire Department with a building fire at the Woodmont North Apartments. Chief 45 arrived to find a three-story apartment building with fire showing from the third floor. Home School Visit and Tour

Fire Fighter Kimberly Mattson, April 01

This morning, the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company hosted a group of Home School Students and their Parents.
The Students were from Kindergarten to Sixth grade.
Firefighter Mattson provided Fire and Life Safety Education.
