Shortly after 2:00am on May 27th, Thorndale Fire Company was alerted on the first alarm assignment to assist Station 49 with a residential fire in the 100blk of Tradition Ln.
Station 49 Chief Officers arrived on location and reported the rear deck area and garage to be well involved. Deputy 38 arrived and assisted the crews from Rescue 49 and Engine 49-5 with pulling two hose lines to quickly contain the fire in the garage area before it could travel into the home. The crew from Engine 38 was assigned to ventilate the roof over the garage. Once ventilation was completed the crew was sent to the rear of the home to continue to check for any fire extension on the exterior.
Station 38 operated on scene for a little over and hour before being released by command. Photos courtesy of IrishEyez Photography.
