May 4th is International Firefighters Day and to help celebrate a few businesses teamed up to make a surprising donation to the firefighters of the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company. A team of staff from Giant Food Stores, Hint Fruit Infused Water, and Big Boize BBQ Sauce stopped by to present their donation on Tuesday May 4th, which included everything you could possibly need to have a stellar BBQ.

Hint Fruit Infused Water in cooperation with Giant Food Stores donated a Traeger Wood Fired Pellet Grill and Bluetooth stereo speakers. Giant Food Stores donated meat, baked beans, seasonings, BBQ sauce, grilling accessories, charcoal, plastic utensils, paper plates, and napkins. Big Boize BBQ Sause, who is locally based here in our district of Caln Township donated a case of their award-winning BBQ sauce. We were shocked to receive such a generous donation from this group of businesses working together to help support their local fire company.
