At 12:59, Thorndale and Caln Township firefighters were alerted to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of The Shops at Wedgewood. Engine 38 responded with a crew of six, along with Deputy 38 and Assistant 38, arriving to find a vehicle in the drive lane with flames engulfing the entire front of the vehicle. Crews deployed a bumper line and quickly brought the fire under control. Unfortunately, most of the vehicle’s contents were damaged due to the heat and flames.
