On Thursday January 8, 2026 at approximately 11:30 AM Thorndale Fire Company was dispatched along with Minquas EMS and Alert Fire Company to the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Thorndale/Marshallton Road for an automobile accident reported with entrapment. Engine 38 arrived on the scene and reported a three vehicle accident with multiple patients including two people trapped in one of the vehicles. The crew from Engine 38 immediately began assessing the situation regarding the seriousness of injuries and began initial treatment until the EMS crews arrived.
Assistant 38 arrived on the scene a requested additional rescue apparatus, medical units, and a fire police task force to control the traffic. Additional units from Coatesville Fire Department, Westwood EMS, Keystone Valley EMS, Washington Hose Company EMS, Uwchlan EMS, Good Fellowship EMS, and West Bradford Fire Police assisted with patient extrication, treatment and transport to the hospital, and traffic control. Five patients were transported to the hospital for treatment. Thorndale Fire Company and West Bradford Fire Police remained on the scene to provide blocking of the incident scene while Caln Police investigated the situation.
