On May 28 at 07:25 Chester County Emergency Service notified Thorndale Fire Company and Caln Township about residents reporting 5 baby ducks stuck in a storm drain in the Barley Sheaf Farms section of the Township.

Assistant 38, Rescue 38, and Caln PD responded to the scene and found mom standing guard over a storm drain with her 5 ducklings at the bottom.

After a lot of coaxing, and a big Team effort, all 5 ducklings were rescued and returned to mom who promptly led them off to their next adventure.
