At 12:47 hours, Station 38 was dispatched to the 3200 block of Walnut St for a reported appliance fire. Assistant 38 arrived & found a pellet stove malfunctioning with a smoke condition. Engine 38 arrived & crews removed the burning pellets within the hopper & ventilated the structure.
