As Station 38 units were clearing a fire alarm in the 1600 block of Lincoln Hwy, units were dispatched to assist Downingtown Fire Department with a house fire in the Woodmont Development. Both Engine and Rescue 38 responded shortly after dispatch. Assistant 45 arrived on location reporting a working attic fire. Rescue 38 arrived as the fourth due engine and was assigned to division two checking for possible fire extension.

Engine 38 arrived as the fifth due engine and stood by on scene. Crews operated for about 45 minutes before being released by command.
