Station 38 was dispatched to assist Station 39 with a house fire. Chief 39 went on location with heavy fire to the rear of the structure and reports of possible entrapment. Engine 38 arrived and assumed first due engine stretching 1.75” crosslay to the front door. Engine 38 crew knocked down the bulk of the fire on the main floor and assisted Tower 45 with searching the residence. Luckily, no one was found inside the residence during the searches.

Utility 38-1 crew assisted with additional fire attack and overhaul. Two additional 1.75” lines were stretched from Engine 38 for additional fire attack by personnel. Station 38 operated for a little over 2 hours before being released by Command.
