The Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company is committed to serving our community in the best way possible, in doing so we offer tours of our station to residents, community groups, or to anyone who is interested. Tours can last from 20 minutes to 60 minutes depending on the group and typically include looking at the fire apparatus, the equipment carried on the apparatus, the living quarters, and information concerning fire safety. We ask that the group size be limited to no larger than 30 persons and we request one adult chaperone for every five children. Our volunteers will remain available for calls during the tour, so there is a possibility they may have to respond to a call during the tour. If this should happen, the tour may need to be canceled, however it can be rescheduled.
To schedule a tour or discuss the possibilities of what the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company can do to accommodate your group, please email us at info@thorndalefirecompany.com.
