On Wednesday night Thorndale Fire Company held our annual Chief's Night where the Fire Chief goes over the previous year and what to expect in the coming year. This year Chief Cordisco along with the members of the fire company were honored to have Township Manager Kristen Denne with us along with Cynthia Eshleman the President of the Board of Commissioners for Caln Twp and Commissioner Josh Young.

The night started off with the Chief going over our run totals for the previous years. In 2016 we ended with 444 Total Alarms, 14 Building/Structure Fires, 70 Auto Accidents, 10 Auto Accidents w/ Entrapment, 36 Fire Police, 431 QRS calls.

After the Chief reviewed 2016 Township Manager Kristen Denne was able to speak to us and discuss her plans and show her support for what we do at the fire company. After she finished it was time for our Fire Police Officers to be sworn in by Cynthia Eshleman President of the Board of Commissioners. This year we have 29 members who are to be sworn in as Fire Police Officers.

The remainder of the night was used to recognize some of our members who went above and beyond in 2016.
