On Wednesday night 2/15/2017 at approx 21:25hrs Station 38 was dispatched to assist the City of Coatesville at a reported house fire. Coatesville units were dispatched at 21:23hrs for a reported appliance fire (stove) and shortly after their dispatch the call was upgraded to a house fire because the caller reported that the entire kitchen was now on fire.

At 20:54hrs on 1/31/17 Thorndale Volunteers along with numerous other companies from around the area were dispatched to the 300blk of Jonathan Dr in Caln Twp for the house fire. Chief 38 made the response shortly after dispatch and was advised by county that the back corner of the house was reported to be on fire. Training is essential to make sure our skills are up to par so when the pager goes off we don't even have to think we just react. Serious Accident on N Caln Rd

On Monday 1/23/2017 as a storm was starting to arrive into the area bringing with it high winds and rain the Thorndale Volunteers were alerted at 07:39 for an accident reported serious at the intersection of N Caln Rd & Ridgeview Dr. Initial reports were of a vehicle overturned.
