Every year on August 1st Communities across the United States celebrate National Night Out which is a night for Community/Police Awareness. Engine Handles Car Fire

On August 1st just before 9am as the Engine was just returning to the station from a reported house fire in West Bradford the Company was dispatched again along with Engine 76 from the VA this time to N Bailey Rd and Fisherville for the reported vehicle fire. The Engine responded immediately and were advised of an engine compartment fire.

Transfer Assignment to Station 27

Thorndale Fire Company, July 27

On Thursday July 27th, Engine 38 with a crew of 6 traveled to Cochranville Fire Company Station 27 to provide coverage while their members worked the annual Cochranville Fire Company Fair. Thorndale crews were met at Station 27 by Rescue/Engine 36 of Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company. Overturned Scrap Metal Truck Closes 322 for hours

On Wednesday July 26th shortly after 10am Thorndale Fire Company along with MICU 46 (Minquas) were dispatched to the 4900blk of Horseshoe Pike (322) for the auto accident involving an overturned tractor trailer. Rescue 38 and MICU 46 were the first to respond and were advised of a scrap metal truck that flipped onto it's side and dumped thousands of pounds of scrap onto the road. Two other vehicles ... Vehicle Flips Over Bypass Guardrail Lands on 322

Just before 2am on Wednesday July 19th Station 38 along with MICU 46 from Downingtown were dispatched to the area of 322 and the Route 30 overpass for the accident reported as one vehicle overturned. Chief and Assistant 38 were the first ones to respond and were advised by Chester County 911 Center of a vehicle on it's roof on 322 and occupants were out of the vehicle.
