First Due Working Fire for Thorndale Volunteers

On Thursday afternoon 12/14/2017 at 12:46 Stations 38 and 76 (VA Hospital) were dispatched to the unit block of Skyview Ln in Caln Township for the report of an appliance fire. Initial reports were of a dryer on fire. FM39 (Stackhouse) made the response and arrived a short time later with smoke visible from the front of the residence and the occupant at the front door. On Saturday 11/25/2017 at 16:01 Station 38 was dispatched to the 100blk of Turtlepoint Ln for the Carbon Monoxide Alarm. While Chief 38 and Engine 38 were responding to this call Chester County 911 Center advised of a second emergency in the 200blk of Carlyn Ct for the Oven Fire. Fire Police Assist West Chester on 5 Alarm Nursing Home Fire

In the early morning hours of November 17th just after midnight West Chester Fire Department was dispatched to the 700blk of N Franklin St in West Chester for the reported building fire at Barclay Friends Home which is a nursing home. Serious Accident Closes Bypass for Over 9 Hours

On Wednesday 9/27/2017 just after 11pm Thorndale Fire Company was dispatched to the Route 30 bypass eastbound between Route 282 and 113 for the auto accident reported serious. Also on the assignment was the Downingtown Fire Company and MICU 46 from Minquas Fire Company and MICU 87 from Uwchlan Ambulance Corp.
