Working House Fire In Downingtown

Thorndale Fire Company, January 04

Around 10:30 hours Station 38 was dispatched to assist the Downingtown Fire Department with a house fire with possible entrapment in the 100 block of Bradford Ave. Chief Law from Station 45 arrived on the scene and reported smoke showing from the "Alpha" side of the building. Thorndale Fire Company, December 29

Short after 22:30 hours, Station 38 was dispatched to assist stations 45 & 46 with a building fire. Assistant 45 arrived on location to find a 2.5 story twin with fire showing from division 2 and 3. Engine 38 arrived as the 3rd due engine, deploying a secondary hose line assisting with fire attack on division 2 and 3 of the structure.

Deputy Chief Donald Taylor, December 16

On November 29, 2023 James DiDomenico, President and Veronica Sohata Vice President of the Campus, located at 4533 Lincoln Highway presented Fire Chief Patrick Taylor and President John Carbo with a generous donation of $10,000. The donation was given on behalf of the Paulette Belinsky Foundation as a gift in memory of James E. DiDomenico Sr. who had been a Philadelphia Firefighter for 37 years.
