CPR and Stop The Bleed Training

Join the Caln Township Firefighters, Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company, and Minquas Fire Company No. 2 in celebrating National EMS week and Stop the Bleed Month with this free event.
On May 24th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM free CPR and Stop the Bleed training will be offered.

Two Alarm Fire in Coatesville

At 11:14 hours the company was dispatched as part of the first alarm assignment to the 300 block of S. First Avenue to assist the Coatesville Fire Department with a building fire. Ladder 41 arrived on the scene reporting fire showing from division two on three structures in the middle of the row. Chief 43 arrived and assumed First Avenue Command. First Responders Night at Coatesville High School

Thorndale Fire Company along with several mutual aid companies were invited to the 2025 home opener for Coatesville High School Boys Varsity Baseball Team as they honored First Responders. Working Fire Assist to Station 49
Thorndale Fire Company, February 25
At 03:40 hours, Station 49 (EBFC) was alerted to the 500 block of Rock Raymond Road for a reported chimney fire. Battalion 49 arrived to find fire through the roof of a single-story ranch and requested the working fire upgrade along with the tanker task force. Annual Commercial Inspection Prevents Possible Fire

While performing an annual commercial fire inspection Caln Township Fire Marshal’s noticed an odor and faint smoke coming from an extension cord being used to power an ice machine. Further investigation found that both the extension cord and ice machine cord were melted and burning.
